Halstatt is the female-led alternative investment firm that traces its roots back to Barron Gift Collier, an early 20th century advertising executive and one of the most influential figure in the development of Florida. The company’s initiatives span real estate, private equity, sponsored buyouts, venture capital, and specialty lending. Founded by Juliet “Judy” Collier Sproul, the granddaughter of Barron Gift Collier Sr., the company began with the development of the renowned Naples, Fla. based Grey Oaks Country Club and the redevelopment of LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort.
The company is now run by Judy’s eldest daughter, Katie Sproul and has grown into a sophisticated alternative investment platform that deploys capital on behalf of the Sproul family and third-party institutional investors. Julie Sproul, Judy’s middle daughter runs the family board and ensures governance, continuity and communications across generations while Jennifer Sullivan, Judy’s youngest daughter is responsible for deploying the family and firm’s philanthropic commitments through the Halstatt Charitable Foundation.
