Board Member

Robert Thomas currently serves as a Board Member for Halstatt. Mr. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, Madna Cum Laude. Currently, Mr. Thomas is CIO of WestRiver Group where he oversees the firm’s investment strategy & portfolio. Prior, he served for 15 years as CIO for the George Kaiser Family Foundation and was responsible for the financial administration & management of its $5 billion investment portfolio. For the 10 years prior, he served as Portfolio Manager for the Bill Gates Investment Office, having eventually had responsibility for oversight of all externally managed fund relationships. Mr. Thomas currently serves as a Board of Advisors Member for the Financial Economics Institute at Claremont McKenna College, is a Trustee of The University of Tulsa, is President of the Board of Directors of Undercroft Montessori School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and serves as Chairman for the Board of City Year Tulsa. Robert lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife and two sons.
